Climate change

Theme pack

Dear broadcasting partners,

Since 2019, FRI has collaborated with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research to create resources on how farmers in various African countries can adapt to climate change. The resources provide the most current information on how climate change is affecting the weather and climate in the country, and on how it’s affecting the agricultural sector. The resources also highlight practices farmers can use to adapt to the current conditions—and to prepare for the future.

This pack includes eight items: seven two-host discussions, and one Barza Wire story.

Two-host discussions
Farmer strategies for adapting to climate change in Uganda
Farmer strategies for adapting to climate change in Cameroon
Farmer strategies for adapting to climate change in Zambia
Farmer strategies for adapting to climate change in Niger
Farmer strategies for adapting to climate change in Ghana
How farmers can adapt to climate change in Burkina Faso
Farmer strategies for adapting to climate change in Ethiopia
