Theme pack
Welcome to our theme pack for the month of October, where we share resources relating to the theme of World Food Day, celebrated Oct. 16. Innovate Today, Nourish Tomorrow: this theme shares forward-thinking solutions, combined with traditional knowledge and inclusive approaches, that can help ensure that everyone has access to sufficient, diverse, safe, and nutritious foods, while safeguarding the planet for future generations.

Many of you have been sharing stories on this theme for months or years, as you discuss how farmers are implementing Nature-based Solutions, agroecology, and circular regenerative agriculture. These agricultural practices look to the future – protecting the environment and helping farmers adapt to climate change – while integrating traditional practices like composted manure, beekeeping, and others.
Find some great stories about innovative farming practices that will help farmers produce more for the future. You can also find great stories about innovative women and youth in our August theme pack.
