Soil fertility

Soil health

Theme pack

Dear broadcasting partner,

Here is our latest monthly theme pack of FRI resources, this month all about integrated soil fertility management. This is a set of practices related to planting, fertilizers, composting and more to increase the nutrients in the soil and ultimately production of crops.  This approach was developed in Africa to encourage intensification by efficiently using fertilizers. These resources will help you learn more about soil fertility and how to increase nutrients in the soil using organic and inorganic materials.

The theme pack includes 7 Resource Pack items and 6 Barza Wire stories. There are also resources available in Swahili and Portuguese.
