Around the world, too many women and girls face violence and discrimination because of their gender. This often takes the form of limited rights, limited control over or access to finances or resources, or physical violence. This is an even more important topic now because many organizations have reported an increase in violence since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the situation made systemic inequalities worse.
Farm Radio International has developed several resources related to gender-based violence, including several relating to sexualized violence and consent.
