Youth today face many unique challenges. Adolescence and early adulthood bring many changes to the body and mind. At the same time, youth are making important decisions about their education and what will come next in their lives. The COVID-19 pandemic, combined with conflicts around the world, climate change, and other stresses, make these life changes even more complex and difficult.
As broadcasters, this is a good time to reflect. How do you involve youth in your programs? Do your programs talk about issues that are important to youth? Do you produce your programs in ways that attract and entertain youth and capture their attention? How do you use your programs to help youth to succeed in school and in life?
